We walk the town tour and enjoy the Champollion Museum, the birthplace of the fellow who decoded the Rosetta Stone… a beautiful museum with the shell of his home enclosing wonderful glass walls.  Displays feature ancient tablets in many languages. Then lunch in a nearby outdoor pavilion, Brazilian-French with a tasty chicken dish with rice and French fries, plus a Brazilian rum-lime drink.  Nick buys a white tee shirt, very nice.  We have two excellent dinners at the hotel.  Bonnie has proscuito and melon, then braised pork with roast potatoes (great!).   Nick has a fab tomato-mozzarella salad, then salmon, and crème brûlée.  Wonderful wine as always.
